This beautiful project calls for a piece of black 18-count mono canvas measuring 16" x 16". In the years since this piece debuted, some of the threads originally used have been discontinued. Therefore, Jim has worked out a list of currently available substitute fibers. Please see the current newsletter for ordering coupon and supply list.
The cost of the instruction book for this project is $55 (plus $8 postage if not picking up in person). Ordering deadline will be March 15--no late orders will be honored.

Here is a photo of the project worked in an entirely different colorway. Renamed Jet d'Eau, it won a first-place award for its stitcher, Joetta Melton, at the National Academy of Needlearts 2009 Exemplary.
